Ahlulbayt Union Sports and Activities team are honoured to present Marks of Mourning, a sister’s only afternoon of reflection, learning, and creativity inspired by the legacy of Karbala.
Taking place on Saturday 2nd August 2025 from 2:30 – 7:00 PM at the Hussaini Centre for Research, 45 Peter Ave, London NW10 2DD, this event will feature a thought-provoking lecture by Zahira Mamdani, taking us on a journey through the life of Sayyeda Zainab (AS), exploring how her courage and faith inspire us today.
You’ll also take part in a hands-on calligraphy workshop led by Sister Sayyida Khadija, exploring the art of writing the names of the shuhada.
Chai and light refreshments will be served.
