  • The Spiritual Struggle: Refining the Self

This four-week course explores Jihad al-Nafs (the struggle against the self) through the teachings of the Qur’an and the Ahlulbayt, examining how Muslims living in the modern West can cultivate discipline, sincerity, forgiveness, and moral clarity in their daily lives. Across four sessions, participants will reflect on the challenges of desire, accountability, justice, and purposeful living, while developing practical tools for spiritual growth and self-refinement.

Ultimately, the course connects inner transformation to outward responsibility – preparing the believer to live with greater awareness, service, and readiness in anticipation of Imam al-Mahdi (AJTFS).
